How much do the manuals cost and, do I remove the electric motor if I use the manuals?

hit some junk yards and you might find them for cheap, but they might be in just as bad shape as the ones you have. you can buy new aftermarket hubs. google it, you have a Dana 28 front or a Dana 35 depending on the year of your truck. and no it is not realy going to hurt you driving it like that, your 4x4 will just not work. make sure to check all your axle joints and the rest of the front end just to make 100% sure thats your problem. but it seams like the most logical to me.
