Lower Intake Manifold gasket

Post by jefe »

I've never installed a gasket like this before, so I'm curious where I lay down some RTV sealant on this...

On the cork edges and everywhere there is blue?

Thanks for any help.

if its an intake gasket you really dont want to use rtv,but if you fell you must use it only on the areas that oil or coolant will pass

that blue stuff works as RTV...I have put it where the cork meets the block and it works well. the cork never realy seals well
