bronco II runs bad after off roading

when ever im on my way back home after i go off roading it runs really weird and just spits and sputters all the way back can anyone help me?

like when you mud bog? i have the same problem with mine its ether a hole in your in take box . or a bad vacuum leak

When mine did that I assumed it was the distributor cap getting wet because when it would dry out it was fine.

yea i thought it was that to so i sprayed dry grease on it and went back out and it still happened

Yeah, I think our ignition systems are getting wet. Try silicone grease instead, load up all the electrical connections with it. I am gonna try that after I get my 4x4 and on board air systems working.
