motor problem an motor swap

motor has no power after it hits 2nd gear or gets over 30 mph. goes thru gears an just revs real high cant even climb small inclines. also what motors will swap. will a 300 strait 6 fit if not what is best i want anythng bigger then the 2.9 thats in it
