b2 dies over bumps

Post by b2 bomber »

New here...Has anyone had the problem of dying over tracks or rough road?? A little history, I've owned this b2 for 2 months and have done the following; Tune up including plug wires, fuel reg. and o2 sensor. It smelled like it was burning rich and that seems to have improved somewhat. Any ideas?? Thanks

Most probably a defective power or ground connection, where is the question.
I have seen the ECU relay contacts get so bad they would do this. Also if someone has changed the ECU relay and hard mounted it to the fender liner it will do it on most every bump, new or old. There is a spring mount for each of the relays on the pass side fender, that just clips into the relay (under the protective cover) that they are supposed to be mounted with.

Bang on the steering wheel when the engine is running, if it quits it's the key switch or connections. You may have to bump everything to find the problem.
