BII rear DRv shaft

Post by In the Zone »

Well i Did not have a lot of faith in it to begin with.....

stupid double cv skinny thing...

Lasted until i finished the lift....

12:30am sunday night wife takes it out and does some local wheelin....LOL

Snap blows the C.v.

What to do need to get to work

well i measure the distance needed 36" measure the front shaft from my now parked 97 f150 was also 36"

perfect flange style matches only problem was the slipyoke siezed...... so i manage to clean it and relube to get it workin...

so what i am sayin is the front drive shaft from a 97 f150 makes one awsome replacment for the BII and it works with the lift....

also derived from my 97F150 rearsprings......4.5" lift nice arc and flex well still being able to hold the lift when loaded for campin or what have u....600lbs+

all i needed to do was cut 3/4 " off to get the travel in the slip yoke to not bottom on full compression......... Saweeet re-welded the shaft

takes a good lickin :tongue2:

oh ya the 8.8 is locked and runnin33" bfg's fro now on the factory f150 rims...
