My bronco has a 2.9L V6 and it is a 4x4 when driveing it as it goes into third it will rev up like it is stuck in nutural. if i let off let it idol back down, and get back on the gas it shifts right into gear, and also it is slow to go into reverse

Service the tranny, get a new filter and fluid, and check it over good, sounds like either a sticky valve, or low fluid.
Low fluid can cause this, better get it checked out ASAP, or you will have a big boat anchor.
