I went to look and see what trans I had and looked at the sticker in the door...
it says my trans is a "T", I was looking for c4, or c5. How can I tell?
oh if it helps, its an 89 eddie bauer 4x4.

Can't think of anything witty, intelligent, or cool to say...guess I'm just stupid.

the only thing I would like to add to this is that you should physicly look under the truck to see what tranny you have. these trucks are now starting to become 20 yrs old and their is really no telling if the tranys have been replaced or not. the C4 was never put in these trucks from the factory, you are going to be between the C5 and the A4LD if it is a c5 you are in good shape, but they were only in the 84-85 I think. the A4LD should be what you have and yes they suck.
