welding the front

How reliable would it be if i welded up the front gears?? any draw backs?
I believe you understand what you think I said but im not sure you realize what you heard is not what I meant....?

if you drive it carefull, you will be great, break more shafts but i loved mine welded. just cant use it up here with snow on the streets, its hell on ya

but wont the hubs being unlocked and the transfercase in 2by take all the stress off the axle shafts on the pavement... and i dont do any heavy wheeling just mostly mud and some hills here and there do you think id still have a problem breaking axle shafts?

hubs unlocked and in 2 by your fine,

but with it weled up, you will break more than open

I wheeled 2 years before I blew up my R&P with a welded up front. :frown:
