Explorer rims

Post by cdmiller »

Will the stock 16 inch rims off a '03 Explorer go onto a 1990 BII ?
I have a chance to get some great AT tires but, they are on the
Explorer rims. Anybody done this or know where I can find out ?

This thread has a pretty comprehensive listing of bolt patterns for the ex b2 and ranger and it looks like you might be in luck.

Well it says the hub size in the ex rims is 71.5mm and the B2 is 70.6mm so it will fit it's just not going to be a factory fit and the wheel will rest solely on the lugs which they are designed to do IMO so I'm pretty sure you are going to be just fine with a .9mm difference.
