BW1345 or another tcase

Post by Phillippi »

I have the BW1345 in my fs bronco right now and it seems just a bit huge. Anyone here used this case or tried to use it and had problems? If so what are some other direct bolt on to the AOD? Thanks.

i dont think you have to many choices other than the bw 1345, and the bw 1356. i know with a little mill work you can run a np 205. you might be able to run a np 208 not sure though.

I have a 205 behind my AOD all you have to do is grind out the spot were the shifter goes. ford t cases are really adaptable because they kept the same bolt pattern and splines for a long time!

not really but its on the tail housing in the unper left corner. the second you get a 205 ready to put in you will notice were its got to be cut. you also have to build some shifters for it to. I will try to take a pic tommorrow if i can remimber.

I've never heard of a BW1356, but I bolted a BW1350 from a 88 Ranger to my 5-speed. The threads were different, but the bolt size the same. I'm not sure if they're any smaller though.

the 1356 is a fullsize case,

i would run the 205, its a stong case, you can twin stick it, and when you get some extra coin you can do a 203 205 doulber
