Wasn't the TFI or pick-up coil. Ignition switch was bad.

Two weeks ago I posted a "won't start" problem that turned out to be the ignition switch. ...... Just thought I ought to post the results .... so there ya go.

Now that it's done, I can see where it made perfect sense. It would sound like it wanted to start, but when I quit cranking and let the key return to the run position, it would just stop....yeah like turning the key off. I guess thats what was actually happening contacts-wise inside the worn-out switch. :mad:
