front frame to body mounts ?? how structural ??

finished welding new quarters and found rust around very front body mounts - either side of radiator. How much of a big deal is this area - should I rust treat it and seal it up or replace with new metal. I'm putting a brand new motor in it and want to drive it for a while 5 plus years. I don't care about asthetics what do you guys think ??
