T-case shifter installation woes

Post by Bronco19 »

I installed the T-case, a BW1350 in my 89' 2wd B2. Everything is fine exept, the shifter when shifted to 2wd loses the lever out of reach and can't bring it back. If I pull the bracket back too far then it can't go into 2wd. I tried for more than a half hour and gave up. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Currently I'm crawling under my B2 and pulling the lever by hand. This is do to Fords $215 price on the rubber shifter boot. Why does this thing cost so much?
