I'm certified in engine rebuilding and have built quite a few. Replacing lifters and NOT the cam is asking for failure. These have set to the original lifters. I'll try that. I tryed some "high mileage oil" but I couldn't tell any differance in it and was probably a waist of money. What about some oil additives? Ever used "Motorkote"??

My stock 84 has about 45 to 55 when started cold but when warmed up it will carry 40 on the highway at 3000 rpm's but if I stop at idle the oil pressure will go to 15 sometimes as low as 8 when warmed up.
