Re: The un fortuneate End of the Bronco II Project.
Well The B2 is officially Gone. It was sad watching it go but at the same time it was a relief to be free of the rig. I still have all the running gear for another one with 4:10 gears, A Lock rite Locker and a D28 TTB 4:10 with Limited slip. I have 3 A4LDs and 3 2.9's. Plus wires and dash and such. ...

The un fortuneate End of the Bronco II Project.
I am setting here watching the end of my B II project as it has finally been determined to be economically UN feasible to complete this project. The B II has been setting out in the weeds next to my shop and the other day I noticed a tree near the building was looking diseased. I called an arborist ...

Re: What did you do with your Bronco II today?
How you doing there Lance, Not much to report on BII progress, I am getting ready to actually move the BII. I need two trees removed right where the Bronc sits. I am worried that a good storm next winter could bring them down on top of my shop. That would not be a good thing. I am still plugging awa...

Re: '88 Bronco II with Gremlins
As I was going to say here is an FYI on sudden electrical failure related to the ignition. On the lower part of the steering column there is a large connector connected to the housing. The connector has been known to start separating where the plastic connector is attached to the housing. There are ...

Re: '88 Bronco II with Gremlins
I would first fix one problem at a time. Are you saying the headlights won't come on and the engine won't turn over? That sounds like a fundamental dead battery. You need to put a voltmeter on the battery to read battery voltage. Record on a piece of paper the voltage measured at the Battery termina...

Re: What did you do with your Bronco II today?
Lets see, I found me an 8.8 rear out of a 91 exploder, I was hoping for 4:10 but settled for a 373 Limited slip. It's the perfect width for my TCoupe project. I think I got a score as I got the rear complete with leaf springs, U Bolts, E brake cables, sway bar and brakes. I got the whole works for $...

Sounds to me like you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. If you overheat a 2.9 it is almost certain you will crack a head.

Re: What did you do with your Bronco II today?
Lance, I cleaned a bunch of my David Bradley parts with the electrolysis tank. It did a good job. I was limited by the size of the tank and the amount of space it took up. my T is too big to put in electrolysis so I am looking at some alternatives now. I recently ran across a rust removal process th...
