be careful tightening them down too, they snap easy, ive done it. i replaced mine it took about an hour, just clean them up real good too, all mating surfaces.

my 84 is the same, but i have a red terminal wire with a fuseable link in it also I,ll look and see if i see where it goes. youve never said if it fires up and runs too.

does your accessories work with the switch on, radio, fan, wipers ? forward and backwards? if they do its not the switch.
check the grounds. do you get anything when you turn the key on? clicking, even if it starts by jumping the selonoid it still could be bad.check the easy stuff first.

fuel shot out top of carb
yesterday was a kinda nice day so i decided to mess the B2. I had some in my mustang, took them off. I had to swap them out every time for inspection purposes and there's no high low beam all high beam. Got tired of being flashed at when other people passed by and got pulled over twice by the cops. they thougt i was drunk and had my high beams on.

Yes, Jan,Feb really gets cold here. Central TX gets a mix of it all, but mostly ice storms if anything. Esp that last blast avg temp was like 15 for 2 weeks. Just now starting to warm up some

why does it have a elec fuel pump? did they remove the mech pump off it? is it brand new or reman carb? may not be adjusted right.

they need more info, does it surge, idle rough, hesitate,was it cold outside? mine did that found out ice was on the carb.
