I think if I ever do the engine upgrade again ill go with a 4.0 rather than the 5.0. so much work trying to fit fullsize driveline under the BII and expensive to get adapters if you do it that way.

if you wanna make it a 4x4 you can easily put the front end and T-case from a 4x4 BII stroight bolt-in I believe aside from the T-Case linkage you gotta cut the hole in the floor. and iv heard of a D28 commonly going for a case of beer because they are usually unwanted :) and as far as a t-case goes...

that is about $400-$500 USD right? I would do it for that...then sell what you don't need. the front end around here would bring $300 pretty easy if it is a 351M truck the bell housing will work for a 460 so you should be able to sell that pretty easy too. hell the body should bring $50 at the crus...

i found the BFG tread pattern pretty good for all around driving I had the tread on a set of Alpi Reman. tires but if you want to do some mudding id reccommend soemthing with a bit more space between lugs Yokahama makes a awsome affordable tire cant remember the model tho

Ok well as far as the D-Shaft goes I was talking about the rear shaft... I havnt even had a chance to do the front yet. As far as the starter goes ill buy a new one when this one dies(pick-a-part starters cost $20cdn so thats 6 used for every new and i break even) and I probably do have a bad ground...
