Re: BII 302 Tranny Questions

Re: 88 bronco ii driving down road and then shut off

Re: Hydraulic Clutch Cable Release

Typically when I pull these cables I mana...

could also be the fuel pump on its way out... mine would randomly die then sit for 20min and start like there was never an issue... fuel pressure tested fine... about 2 weeks later it wouldnt work at all and it turned out to be fuel pump.

Re: sending unit?
its the sending unit in the tank... the fords and rangers from the mid 80's to early 90's seem to all have the issue eith gasoline corroding the sending unit.. the only way to fix it that I know of is to replace it... the only way to get a replacement is to replace the whole in tank fuel assembly......

Re: Bronco II 2.9L Heads Need Fixin'
I always like to know what I'm getting into, so i'd do a compression test or a leak down test. Up here we have a store called Princess Auto, it's a lot like your Harbour freight, tools to do these test should be available there. A 4.0L swap should be fairly easy and will bolt to your tranny. I toas...
