yeah it has plenty of room to move in and out theres not alot of trvel in the slip yoke anyway. the problem im intisipating is having to much drop which will force the slip yoke out or to much compression which will force the yoke into the t-case. http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/408088/fullsize/...

Did I hear you say you just put the body lift on and now there is a fast idle?

If so I would be suspecious that your throttle cable has been pinched, pulled,or is under stress....

Try disconnecting the cable and see if the rig will idle then.

Just a thought.

So one day he got this big ol Idea and poured 140W Gear oil in the car. It ran better and smoked a lot less and leaked less..... There were d...

A temperature gauge unless watched like a hawk, isn't really worth much. The reason I say this is that if the water level drops lower than the temp sensor the temp sensor won't respond worth a crap unless there is wated surronding it. It then stays fat and happy in the green while your motor cooks l...

You will find the B2 2.9 in Bronco II's Rangers, and Aerostars. I can't think of any other aplication other than the Merkur scorpio something like that but they are rare. If you were in the UK I would be looking for a Cosworth 2.9..

I had a sneeky hunch that 3.7's were what I should be running. I will be doing a lot of around town and some limited freeway driving. 3.7's were my gears of choice back when I built a lot of street cars. Although I usually had lower profile tires on them, I found 3.7's to be quite exciting on the st...

RPM & Gear Ratio

Ok here is a question for all of you V8 drivers. First off what RPM are you turning at freeway speed? What is your Gear ratio? Is your gear ratio satisfactory? And lastly, what size of rear tire are you running. I am trying to decide if my 3.5's in my T roadster along with 30 inch tall rear tires. 2...

I used to buy from speciality metals but they have like a $30 minimum now and won't even talk to you for the most part less your gonna spend big bucks.

What I like about the supermarket is if I need 2 dollars worth of steel I can get 2 dollars worth.
