I can understand the part about wanting a V8, But why oh why do you want to put a Chevy in a ford?????

If you want V8 power, Sell that Chevy and pick up a 5.0 or maybe a 351. Don't be like all the other clones out there.

Vehicle use varies however some basics never change. For a daily or semi daily driver and weekend warrior your probably looking for a low end to mid range runner. A radical cam and huge carb is not a good idea. Remember Torque is our friend. That all said, My Choice for my Street Rod project (it's a...

The sleeves are important to help keep your body attached safely and securely. I saw the results of a body lift done with the bolt and pads only when he rear ended a pickup at about 25 mph. The body kept going while the frame stopped. the body landed in the back of the truck he hit. Fortunately no o...

Nobody, I know exactly of what you mean about the traffic. :mad2: I was really surprised a while back when you said you would be working further south. I know a couple of Boeing employees that commute to Everett from Fed Way every day and I don't know how they do it. :wtf: If you can help it don't m...

If your gauges are erratic, and that means all of the electrical gauges not just one, then the Regulator is the most likly cause. I do want to...

Let me add this thought. Look over the shaft real close for dents or dings. I have seen many a shaft running and vibrating because of the damage.

If no dents or dings then the CV joint is a goner.

I have seen some people try to re-fiberglass the lid with variable success. I had a broken hatch right where the spare mounts and I just cut a piece of diamond plate aluminum and riveted the plate over the fiberglass. You could do something like that to patch the hatch or look around for a B2 that i...

You are correct it is a stock item.
The rear hatch is Fiberglass and usually broken where the spare latches.

Yep, The answer is usually a small voltage regulator on the back of the instrument panel. It is a small metal can about 1 inch by 1/2 inch. It is located on the back of the instrument cluster. This regulator is mounted to the cluster with a single screw. It is very important that the ribbon cable un...

Anything can be done with enough force. I think you may have some serious Fit problems. A 302 fits with nothing to spare and it is significantly narrower.

Now having said that I do believe I remember someone stuffin a 460 into the B2. I don't know how they did it but it was done..

The Key is the transmission tail-shaft, and housing. I would presume if the 5 speed was ever in a 4wd then you need the rear stuff from that version..

Hope I didn't confuse ya on that.

I am not sure how it is measured on your axles but the same tool (protractor level)is used. Jack up the front & take the wheels off but put jack stands under the axle so as to keep the vehicle at ride height.. Use the protractor level and measure vertically right through the middle of the spindl...
