b2binbad: If you are running the mini-spool....I suggest that you install the hardened cross pin(if you haven't already). Since the mini-spool eliminates 1 of the 2 pins...you need to make sure that that 1 is a good one. I have seen the stock cross-pin break in these appllications. Nope sure haven'...

Napa or Checker will have the wire that you'll need. As for as the size ?? 18 guage is pretty small wire. Probably more like 10 to 14.

I'm using a mini-spool I got on e-bay. Cost me 7 bucks a piece (bought 3 of em). I do have the big bearing 31 spline axle shafts so I'm not too worried. Better count yours .
