Re: NEED PICTURES QUICK
You still need this? If you can take a couple photos and show me what you are talking about, then I can look on mine and do the same for you.

Re: oil pan sensor?
Found out yesterday the wire that connects to the low oil sensor comes off the same wiring harness that connects to the knock sensor.

Re: knock sensor - 87 BII 2.9L
To pass along info...I found the wiring harness at the Ecology yard in Chula Vista yesterday and discovered that the random 3rd wire that was clipped on mine is meant for the low oil sensor on the oil pan. I didn't know that until now.
And thanks to Drofman for hooking me up with the knock sensor.

My manual has diagrams of all the wiring for rangers and BII's if you still need the help. I could take photos and post them.

Re: NEED PICTURES QUICK
I've got more that I'll go through and post up. If you need something specific, let me know.
I never took the driver side wiring apart but I can take some photos of that area. You pretty much need to see all of the wiring over by the brake booster area?

Re: Engine Cleaning
Before I started tearing mine down to replace a bunch of gaskets, I took it to a shop that specializes in engine cleaning, top and bottom. It was money well spent even though it didn't take care of the caked on oil and grease. They did their best to dry everything out before I started the drive home...

jefe's 87 Eddie Bauer BII
Been on a mission for a while to get this BII back on the road after I started tearing it apart to replace gaskets and clean up the caked on oil everywhere. Got more photos to post but just wanted to post this one up of the clean engine getting put back together. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/z...
