That's awesome. Is this a "secret" trail or one I can get directions to?
I work right off of Hwy 20 past Sedro.
Nice video too. Sounds like the Bronc is running good. What exhaust are you running?

Nice story.
Damned Mt. Vernions. In Bellingham we have Honda's, VW's, Outbacks, and hippies on bicycles. All of which are fun to run over.

Holy Moses! Bronco's rig has a BIG radiator. Where did I put that Saw zaw? Just don't follow anyone muddin too close, right?
Thanks everyone, I should be good now. I'll just do a little cutting and save a couple hundred bucks.

It looks like it fits nice, but getting the cap off looks like a finger-cutter! Nobody: do you have any pics of your Griffin? Electric fan or regular? I still have a little time. Hopefully dropping the engine and tranny in this week, I still need to bolt everything down, hook up drivelines, and put ...

Well, of course they want you to buy their radiator, but I think I'll be okay with something else.
I have a dual sump pan that is about an inch off the crossmember, so it is sitting nice so far, but it is out right now... tranny problems.

You got it!

Yup,
84 Bronco II. Summit sounds good. I'd rather go new, than put Exploder parts in my BII.

C4 Transmission questions

Okay, so the news is that it will cost $200 to put my 1982 C4 back together. I also have a 1974 C4 from a Maverick (no 4X4). Can I take the transfer case off the 82 C4 and put it on the 1974 Maverick C4? What do I need to do? Would it be better just to go get another used C4 with the transfer case a...

For sure

Yeah, MY old man is going to drop it off at a faithful tranny shop and I'll just go down Monday to pick it up and hopefully get some work done. He doesn't want to mess with it, and I don't want to waste time working on it when I get down there when I could be dropping it in.
Thanks.

Radiator selection

Just wondering what everyone thought. I have a junky electric fan that I'll hook up. But any takes on a good Radiator? Is there used ones that I can get or is it better to get a Duff or Advance Adapters one? I heard a Mustang II will work.

Update

So here's the update: I convinced my pops to drive out to the sticks to take a look at the transmission again. I asked if he would put the torque and the flywheel on the transmission free of the engine and see if it sank in enough that it should clear. He just called and told me that he grabbed the ...

Check out the $9,000 Bronco II on e-bay right now!
I'd send the link, but my work computer blocks internet auctions...

Apparently a snorkle, and some bad ass toys doesn't mean you automatically know how to go muddin'.
Stick to Karoke!
