silly question...Is it going between HI and LOW when you want it to but its just not showing on the dash? If so maybe check the bulb in the dash. If the transfer case is working properly it would be a lot easier to just replace a switch for the light, or a light bulb, or just not look at it.

If you have a manual shift T case and the shift linkage and boot and all then its really just a matter of cutting a hole in your floor. If you don't have the boot then you will need to find one or you will have lots of air coming in throuh your floor (trust me on that one) Another thing to consider ...

Yea. I am not sure how I will be getting there yet. Either motorcycling on Friday morning from Bellingham or trucking down from the Seattle area. Either way, yes I will be there. There are a bunch of people carpooling to this. The closest group is meeting at Skagit Power Sports. The next group is me...

Good to hear its coming along...3 pieces of advice for later: 1) You dont need to remove the T-case to drop the tranny, it might make it a little harder but it helps a bit with leverage to tip the whole assembly up or down. 2) Tip the whole assembly up or down with a floor jack on the end of the tra...

Where and how is your distributer cap?

I have put out a car fire before that started in the distributor cap because the oil seal failed and the oil ignighted in the cap and melted it and then would have caught the carb on fire if we didn't have extinguishers.

This was on a 460.

3.8L V6 from some mustangs and early 80s cars is the biggest carbed V6 (I think). If you are really worried about sticking with a carb but want lots of power then probably go with the 302 because the 3.8 and the 302 have the same bellhousing (I think) so you would have to change all your drive stuff...
