I've got an 86 also and the cruise control doesn’t work either. the fuse is different on mine. not connected to anything else. Tried to trouble shoot it today but came up empty handed. I’m under the impression that it has a bad coil in the unit. I have power to it but it won’t energize. I'll do more...

Not planning on useing the stock axle's if and when I lift it. wanting to do a sas, so new drive shafts will be in the works. It's an 1986 xlt.

used the tech talk.for the drive shaft and I now have a u-joint style rear drive shaft :D . It took about 4 hours to do the whole job. price was 39.95 for the drive shaft parts. The whole thing was around $75.00 with the new joints . Now they are greaseable!!! :beer:

Talk about something great. :D I just finished doing a drive shaft swap that I found on the other site. Sooooooooo easy it ridiculous. hey all< have done a few maintanace jobs on the b2. power steering hose.shocks. front brakes, front spindel driver sidel. :mad2: (make sure to torque those nuts .Last work done didn't and it ate the washer, bearing and spindel.)found bad boot on the rear CV drive shaft and found another b2 site that...

Hello all :D I have always liked the B2 so now i have my 3rd.now that i'm near retirementI can play a bit.
here's my new toy for me and the son.


this is my son's exploder. he painted it when he was 17. we made the push bar. that's supose to be flames on the paint.
