If you take a spray paint cap and cut the outside rim to go around the fitting you can wiggle it in and unlock the quick fitting. works pretty slick if you need to change the slave cylinder

stickiing calipers, sticking master cylinder or a kink in the line could cause these problems. what does the brake fluid look like? you could have some crap in the lines or master cylinder or caliper that is letting fluid through but won't let it return?

slave cylinder?

I need to put a new slave cylinder in my 89 but I can't get the hydraulic line to disconnect. the new slave came with a little plastic tool and the instructions say that it should have a brass fitting, but the fitting is not brass. can anyone help me out on this. i am really starting to miss driving...

if you are throwing flames out the intake then you are probably 180 out. you may have the firing order right but did you get the rotation right?

i have an 89 b2 and an 89 f-150. I want to take the 302 out of the f-150. i know that i have to modify the airbox and do some other stuff. and i have read that the fuel pump sustain up to a little over 200hp. my question is will the fuel lines on the b2 mate with the 302 or will i have to change the...

turning over and cranking is the same thing. did you do the flywheel or did a shop do it. did all the grounds get hooked back up

your motor isn't locked up is it. are you sure the starter is getting power. usually when you just get a click you have a bad ground or not enough power. what is the condition of the battery. if you have good power and ground i would try turning the motor over by hand to make sure nothing is bound up

is the mating surface of the starter and the bolts clean. could be bad grounding

they will be single wires with a rubber elbow on the end that just push onto the sensor. they will come from the firewall in the main harness

does your tach work? it could be shorting out your coil. chased that problem for months on my 82 full size
