machinist tricks

Here are a few tricks and tips I've learned over the years:To find half of a fraction just double the bottom number.ie half of 5/8 is 5/16.To find the right drill to use before tapping a hole look up tap drill chart on the net. The size of a bolt is the diameter of the thread, not the size of wrench...

I've had this problem before,did you tighten them in sequence? Did you use the right torque? this really does make a differance. :canada:

Nice looking ride,I'd swap the v6 for an 8.those engines were never that strong,I did put mine through a fair amount. the money spent rebuilding would be better spent dropping in an 8. have fun. :canada:

cheap lift

Coil springs out of a ranger stx,with auto trans and air cond have a higher spring rate,thus raising the front. Getting yor rear springs re-arched with aleaf added will do the rear.Fender trimming still req'd.This worked for me until I was ready to go big.
