I got the part from Ford and It wasnt in a package, so I took a chance and used a hair dryer to heat it up on low. It worked as well and has been working for about 10 years now.

If thats all you plan on doing, then yes you should be fine with the d35. The 8.8 is a good add on as well. Only the spring perches need to be welded to the top of the tube. Not too hard a job. Good luck.

I already know I am going to do the chop, but if you have read the other post about time management then you will know that I have many other projects before the chop happens... Who knows maybe after the 5.0 I will move the chop to the top of the list and do it anyway.

So its leaking at the fuel filter or at the engine? They do make end fittings but you have to heat up the fuel line and push it on. You cannot heat it too much or it ruins the tubing and too little and its just about impossible to press it in. I hope that helps.

Matt you know what I have... I love it still and with the city signing up 1000s of people the speed is only down to about 7.5mb/sec during the day. The great part is that its also 7.5mb/sec upload as well... I do have friends and family with cable and they really like the speed and reliability of it...
