got tools and garage including lifts and ramps at my disposal so thats not a prob and also welding gear, and i am a mechanic/engineer so does not matter if its bolt on mods or weld etc

4litre v6 explorers are available here, will be used as a daily, but also will be trailing in it with fellow offroad nuts in their landrovers, toyotas and the like and money wise dont wanna go nuts but willing to pay for right mods/bits

come on then guys... i wanna know what i can do to improve my 88 2.9 bronco 2, i will be going down the lifting route but wanted to know what else is possible to do to them

the longer studs are not the main prob its the ones broken off flush that are the problem..

well had the typical exhaust blowing noise from right hand manifold so decided to fix it but had the pleasure of most of the studs breaking off.. So now both heads are off now so i can get the remaning bits of stud machined out and found out the head gaskets just starting to go which is lucky. took ...

yeah a lot over here but parts aint cheap for em...! just as cheap to go v8 with it really and the sound is better with a v8 too..
