Re: What did you do with your Bronco II today?
Well not doing much on BII's these days. Health is still so so. I did start a new MAJOR PROJECT! I bought some property on the Worshington shores. Ocean Shores. I bought it the day before thanksgiving. I am putting up a new house and a new shop. I will be shrinking my new shop about 400 square ft le...

Did you check the inertia switch on the firewall inside the cabin. Just push the button on the little module.

Re: 4x4 Conversion
I see no one has answered this yet! Before my BII left for the great scrapyard in the sky I was going to convert my 2wd A4LD 88 BII . It is pretty straight forward. It is literally a bolt in job "EXCEPT" for the drivers side brackets that go to the frame. You will need to remove this brack...

Re: Picked up #6 today
Well the F150 turned out to be a very expensive repair. I had to give in and have the trans fixed by a shop in town. I just couldn't stand long enough to get the job done. So I took it in and had the pros rebuild the trans. While they were repairing the transmission they noted a significant amount o...

Re: Picked up #6 today
Hi ya Lance I like the looks of the latest one. What Trans does it have? I am really tired of automatic transmissions and their problems. Right now I am trying to figure out what to do about my broken F150. I had a bad trans leak and then it got ugly. I am going to need to get it overhauled here at ...

Could this be a stripped ring gear on the flywheel or flexplate. Take a look in the hole at the flywheel and if you have any damaged teeth you will need to replace the flywheel of flexplate depending on if you are stick or automatic.

Hello, I am sorry to say there is no book for interchange except maybe a Hollander manual and them ain't cheap or easy to get. The rule of thumb I use is most all B II body parts will fit the other year B II through 1990. Engines if it is a 2.9L literally all parts interchange. If it is a 2.8 they d...

Re: 89 bronco II
That fuel pressure is actually low from what I normally see IIRC it is supposed to be 40. and steady. When you unplug the vacuum line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator what change if any do you see? It should be rock steady. BTW look at the end of the vacuum line where it attaches to the regu...
