stock ride height
I have two B2's both with the same 2157515R tires but one rides about an inch highter. The highter one has new shocks. Is that the differance? Also the new shocks sure give a rough ride. The older shocks is a lot softer. I keep my tires pumped up to 45 lbs which is slightly less than the max allowed...

Mirrors
In case anyone was interested the breakaway mirrors will fit the same holes as the smaller black mirrors. Or at least the top will. You will need to drill for the bottom ones but it can be done.

Re: gas tank removal / low pressure fuel pump replacement
I've only checked at O'Brian's. then check somewhere else I will. I've only owned the 1990 one day and other items are higher on the list. This list isn't the priority order as some non-Bronco items are higher. Not working: Cruise control windshield washer air conditioning is cool but not cold (nee...

Re: tachometer
I just took out my Cluster out to change to LED lights (works bitch’n) Wished I took a picture of the back of my Cluster but if you look at the picture below #3 (non-tach) that’s the side of the Tach. If the Tach side connector loom wiring has wires in the void (right side of picture connector with...

Re: gas tank removal / low pressure fuel pump replacement
They may be separate parts but where I've checked they are only sold together. I've only checked at O'Brian's.Ranger Dave wrote:303lithgow wrote:I'm thinking its the low-pressure fuel pump which also has the fuel guage sending unit built into the pump.
the fuel pump and sending are two separate parts

Re: gas tank removal / low pressure fuel pump replacement
On the 90 you only have one fuel pump in the tank. That pump has then built on sending unit. Its a one piece replacement. You dont need any special tools. Just unbolt the skid plate and then unbolt the straps and then you can lower the tank. I would disconnect the filler tube and disconnect the gas...

gas tank removal / low pressure fuel pump replacement
I have two B2's. One is an 86 and the other is a 90. Both fuel gauges do not work. On the 86 it shows it as being full when its full but after burning off about 10 gallons it shows it as being empty. On the 90 the guage doesn't move and always reads as being empty. I'm thinking its the low-pressure ...

Re: tachometer
The instrument panel with the tach will not work with the non-tach wiring. The right-side wiring works but the left-side is totally differant. I followed the wiring and its not much to change but it does need to be changed. I looked at the local boneyard and could easily see as it was stripped out a...

Re: tachometer
I've done it on other Ford products, not a BII and it was just a plug in. You may have to change the oil presser sender as it will be a light instead of gauge type. The schematic I included is for a 88. 89 will be different Thanks, I've never understood idiot lights. When they come on its after the...

Re: tachometer
Went to my haynes ranger&Bll repair manual and checked guage wiring schematics looked at every model year couldnt find any tach wiring circuits. Even checked to see if it was hiding in other circuit systems, again no luck. But it seems the instrument voltage regulator runs most other guages methi...

Re: tachometer
You can install a tach dash into your ride, It's all in the printed curcuit ribbon on the instrument cluster Have you known anyone to do this? In comparing the old cluster with one with the tach cluster I notice some of the wiring doesn't match up. The oil pressure, temperature, gas guage, and amp ...
