what other body would you put on a B2?

I've always liked the early Falcons especially the station wagons. I think it would be cool to put a two-door Falcon Station Wagon on a B2. I bet I would have the only 4-wheel drive Falcon in town.

Re: Gas gauge questions.

My '85 gauge acts funny too. It shows full but once it gets to 3/4 it quickly goes to empty even though I have plenty of fuel. I see pulling a fuel tank in my future. "G" I have an 86 B2 that acts the same way as yours. I haven't heard from very many people that have a working gas guage. ...

Re: Gas gauge questions.

The guage on my 90 B2 would not work. It wouldn't even move when the key was turned on so I decided to install a new sending unit. Since I am painting the mid section I decided to take the bumpers off and the tank skid plate. In preparing to install the unit I emptied the gas and then couldn't get a...

bumper and winch for 90 B2

Now that I have the air shocks on I'm looking for an inexpensive winch. What would you recommend? How about the bumper?

Anyone with pics would be great.

rear air shocks (bags)

I installed my air shocks today. I was able to pick the backend up about two inches and still have a fairly soft ride. It takes about 20 lbs to even it out. Before the backend sagged and it was a choice between replaceing the leaf springs or adding air shocks. Since I like air shocks I decided to go...

Re: OBD I tester needed - or some good info

ah...someone on the motorcycle forums showed this to me...NICE - just like finding the FI codes on a motorcycle "For GM domestic vehicles made before 1995, the diagnostic connector is located under the dash panel by the driver side. To get the check engine codes to flash in your dash panel, us...

Re: stock ride height

I received the air shocks I ordered for the Bronco II. They don't replace the standard shocks but are an addition to them. They look more like air bags rather than shocks. Currently the height at the wheel well is 29 1/2 inches and I will increase it to 31 inches. The shocks I bought are designed to...

Re: stock ride height

One thing I do with my 00 GMC Jimmy is run nitrogen in my tires. I had a local tire shop put it in for me, and the pressure rarely ever changes. There is no condensation from moisture from water. A lot of race teams run nitrogen, and it seems to work for them. You might ought to check it out. Hope ...

My origional question was about ride height, shocks, and tires. Tire size affects height and air pressure affects height.

Re: stock ride height

What the heck are you doing putting 45 pounds of preassure in your tires. It is only supposed to be at most 35 PSI. Check your door jam! I know what the door jam says. I go by what is on the tires. This debate has been going on ever since Firestone and Ford teamed up. If you remember the tires on t...

Re: Air Conditioning

I was going thru a lb of R12 a year and had to go to Mexico with my gauges to fill her up (did you know that if you bring a can of R12 across the Border it just like drugs) but a friend of mine got this butane base stuff that works great. It has bigger molecules and I just added a can this year (3 ...
