Welcome to another board, I'm on this one too. Alot smaller and easier to keep up to date on. Lots of good people here too and a few that aren't over at the ORG.

I'm going to build my own mounts to eliminate some of the drop. When I do, I'm going to make it so the bushing is nuetral when the suspension is at rest. That is what I meant by angling the bracket so it holds the arms at the right angle, I just couldn't think of how to word it. DB I'll wait until ...

I'm pretty sure that if you find a C4 it will bolt to the 205, as I have heard that all ford autos have the same bolt pattern on the back to bolt the adapter to that goes between the tranny and T-case. If you have a body lift a C6 will fit in easily so if you can fix the one you have or find another...

What did you end up doing to fix the radius arms being maxed? I would probably just unbolt it and get it sitting so that the holes are lined up with the radius arms then drill and bolt it back on the frame. Awesome work though, can't wait to see some action pics, what springs are those? They look li...

I don't know you guys, I would say that the military is making me be the slowest, my current project has been ongoing for 3 years now, and has another year and a half before it gets touched at all. I still gotta fab up a better trac-bar mount and a permanent trac-bar before my front end is done too.

On the subject of cinder blocks, why use them? Seriously. Yes they hold a hous up but it is a whole foundation of them up against dirt. Under a truck I've had to many hammers and wrenchs slip that could have hit a cinder block and caused it to chip and crumble. Granted with a crappy jackstand it cou...

How many bolt patterns do you have on your truck, on mine my rims and axles limit my bolt pattern to 8 x 6.5. Sorry I'm a smart ass much of the time, but since you are probably talking about axles swaps - a 1/2" drill bit and a couple of 1/2" fine thread bolts will change the bolt pattern ...

I would keep the 3 lug bolts, I have seen it and it looks stronger, and like a better way to mount the rim rather than have the center hole of the rim resting on something (mostly for aluminum full size spares). On my spare it had a J bolt, but the part the rim sits on didn't even reach my rim, so I...

Are those the 63" springs? Don't seem that long. You're going to leave that excess shackle hanging down like that? Not sure what length they are and not home for the next year and a half to measure them. I am gonna let the springs settle and see where I am before cutting off the excess shackle...

since you have the C5 at least WHEN you decide to do a 5.0 swap you can do the C5/C4 highbred tranny and keep the stock T-case until you break it too. On anything smaller than 37s the 5.13 should be great on the stock engine.

The chevy springs are 2.5" just like ours, I don't remember what year exactly but they were early to mid 80s chevy half ton. The brackets hold it a little bit closer to the frame, but my shackles are made to compensate as you can see in this pic: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/we...

I agree about the frame and only meant to box it where you were making the hangers for the springs to be mounted uder the frame. I also agree on the engine swap being the best bet for getting more power, a 4.0 is a great upgrade, and a 5.0 isn't very hard to do either.

I used front leaf mounts from a chevy half ton in the rear of mine with extended shackles. They held the shackels like 2 inches under the frame instead of at the top of it. I also used chevy springs with alot more arch, but I got like 9 inches of lift out of it without blocks.

Well it is a pretty broad topic. First are you swapping in the rest of the drivfetrain too? If you are still running the 2.8 and stuff you are gonna have strong axles with a weak powertrain which doesn't make much sense to me. Use the $1500 you save doing it yourself to rebuild the bronco's engine a...

So you are going with radius arms and coils in the rear now too?
Duff headers - 308
Edelbrock Ceramic coated - 259
I thought Pacesetter made some too but can't find them. Summit sells the edelborcks though.
