The tree was about half down the hill so pulling it was out. We cut with the hatchet until we could squeeze under it and got about 100 yards further before we found another and it was that way the entire way out. We pulled what we could, drove over or thru what we could and cut what we had to. I too...

Then it was time to go, not bad for the first 1/4 mile or so and then we came to this tree and all we had was this Gerber "axe" as they call it but I say it's a hatchet Image

It was a great time heading up, tons of fresh snow as low as I had ever seen it. Fresh powder and no one else up there yet!
I did not get to many pictures of Josh but his wife did.

Todays fun

long day, long story. I wish I would have remembered my chainsaw, but thanks to Greg and Bill for bringing up a chainsaw at about 3pm. Started the trail at about 8:30am and got out at about 6pm and got about 3 miles in and back. Josh is now "hatchet man" since all we had was his Gerber hat...

I know this sounds backwords but I actualy perfer to arc weld. Not really backwards but if you get a large mig you won't be using the stick much since it easier to give it a quick hit with the mig. For mine I bought it at the local welding store but after looking it's been replaced by a 140 here is...

I have a Hobart 135 and I would buy it again if I was looking for a small 110v wire machine but I would suggest a larger 220 machine. You are going to want a bottle so make sure what you buy has a solenoid in it or it's an additional $100 and the reg is another $100, the Hobart came with both. As so...

I was busy driving so I only took a few pictures, the snow level looked bad on the way up but there was plenty to have a good time.

We went up North out of Sedro.
Yes I did rebuild the box.
I don't know why the box would spit the snap ring allowing the rest to come out, I am 100% certain it was 100% seated. I am going to stuff a new sector shaft seal kit in the box and try it again.

Snow today

Josh and I went up in the snow to do a bit of playing around. A few miles up the trail Josh had a belt squeal, turns out the alternator was a bit loose and that the bolts holding the case together were backing out so it was actually coming apart! It was charging so we snugged the belt and the case b...

York oil mod

I finally burned up my 10 year old York so I got another and thought I would show how to change the clutch and do the "oil mod" so it does not pump so much case oil out in the air.
