if the tranny has never been flushed before don't do it. if it was flushed on a regular bases then i would'nt worry about it. just do a fluid and filter change. if you just changed the filter you might not have gotten it seated all the way. could be a bad vacuum mod. or governor.

if it is carberated then the float could be out of adjustment or have a leaking needle and seat that is dumping fuel into the cylinders as well. if the oil level is over full you definately need to find out where and what is getting in the gas before any bearings get ruined

both are just as easy to get parts for. the 351 is a little bit bigger but i am a power junkie so i would go with the 351. i am trying to figure out what i want to do. i have an injected 302 and 351, and a carb 302. just trying to figure out which one i want to use. either way you go exhaust is goin...

Need more info. how do you know you are getting fuel. do you have spark. why did you replace the distributor. did you instal the distributor right. does it sputter at all with or without spraying in the intake

distibutor cap
So i have been playing in the mud a lot and can't seem to keep water and mud out of my distibutor cap. does anybody have any ideas on how i can keep this from happening?

You could also have a relay going bad. check the ones that are around the brake booster

If your oil was all sludgy.i would change it again and replace the wheel seals and probably the pinion seal.

At least you didnt have trucks backed up on both ends of the trail while two jeeps winch you out while old.guys are yelling at you about how to keep.your truck on four wheels

You probably just took the rod in to far. you might have to adjust it a couple of times to get it right. adjust it back up to where u dont have slack but not so.much that it puts pressure on the master cylinder.
