Re: Willys Pickup and the death of the bronco II

Well i have gotten alot of work done. I took out the coils and put in air bags in the rear. Built the front bumper with tube running under the finders tieing into the body rocker. I made a access pannel to the rear winch. I also had to move the back exhuast to the outside of the frame and build some...

Yeah i did a Auto to stick swap. its not to hard but will catch you with odd ball prices. It cost me about 500 bucks to do it. I never did get the right floor hole for the shifter. But it worked ok.

Re: Oil pump

probably your hydrolic lifters. i switched over to syenthtic oil on one of my 2.9's and it killed a lifter. you have to pull the heads to change the lifters. For you top ticking noise. Not sure about oil pressure. normally when you get low oil pressure its because there is alot of blow by on your be...

Re: Looking @ a Bronco

He said it wouldnt move even when pushed by his jeep! So with the t case in nutral when he pushed it with his jeep it would have moved. So in turn it wouldnt be the trans because the trans is not even connected to the wheels. :finger:

Re: Looking @ a Bronco

doesnt prove anything doing it that way. it could still be the rear diff just not letting the rig move. My money still on the t case. Becuase he said he put it the t case into N and it wouldnt move. If it was the tranny once you put the t case into N it will move. He said he pulled the rear drive sh...

Re: Looking @ a Bronco

sounds like the t case or rear diffo. Most like if it was something with a auto trans it would still move. I would pull the rear dive shaft and unlock the front hubs and see if it move and it doesnt try jacking up the front and chacking just in case that the front wheels still turn. Then my bet woul...

Re: Willys Pickup and the death of the bronco II

I got some more work done. I covered the hole in the floor and just waiting on shifter boots to finish that off. I also got seat covers but waiting to put them on. I covered the hole where the steering goes in. I cut and expanded the finders then mounted them. I put the brake and turn signals in to.

Re: Willys Pickup and the death of the bronco II

Built the rear drive shaft, put the doors on, cut the bottom of the doors to clean the rocker. Made it so i could go into low low range. Made it so all my gadges had light. picked up a larger master cylender but found out it needs a fitting to make work. Put the heavy duty skid plat under the tube w...
