i had this same problem on a 93 aerostar i used to have (don't ask). the problem lie in the switch for the wipers. take the steering column apart, remove the stick (signal switch, wiper controls) assembly, and move indoors. ***do this next part on a white paper towel on a table or a tray - small par...

I have often thought about a diesel b2, myself. i always run into this hurdle though; how do you mate the diesel engine to a (useful) tranny?? as a deere motor would be unique, you have to consider what this vehicle is to be used for. if it is a crawler, maybe a hydraulic drive would be the way to g...

we have two yards here, a u pick, and not a u pick. the u pick has two b2 bodies and frames - everything has been stripped. the other yard doesn't have any. so you see , mcpherson racing, i can't go and get any b2 shafts...that's why i was asking about explorer shafts. but thanks for sharing your st...

okay, so i've decided to go the route of getting a sploder shaft, and having it cut & balanced. the guy at the yard screwed me up by not knowing what i'm doing. (it's not a u-pick yard. his mechanics actually get the parts for you) I called him, but i realized i didn't know these things off the ...

I have no doubt in my mind he was just too lazy to find it; i mean, what does he have to gain, right? he basically indicated that we can't order custom parts, only replacements. so, i will order a replacement for an 88 and i should be fine, right? A good friend now works there, and has been giving m...

so, what happened? I am having this same exact issue myself. what is that thermometric valve all about, and what does it do? man i miss my volkswagen - mechanical fuel injection, no computer! It also does the weird thing idling, if I ever so slightly depress the gas pedal, the idle drops to about 25...

I like a manual. it makes me feel like i have more to do with actually driving the vehicle. I can't actually say i've wheeled with an auto, but i've heard they are amazing in mud - don't think, don't possess any driving skill, just mash the pedal. bar none, coming down hills i want a manual. as for ...

pcv valve? bad fuel / fuel filter. did you change your cap & rotor? if not, pick up a set or clean your old one. mine does this when it's not warmed up properly, so i am guessing too.
