Re: 89 Bronco II tranny--to fulsh or not to flush
I have an 87 and when i forst got it, i changed the fluid and filter, didnt take too long and wasnt expensiive. i didnt flush it though, i just let it drain by itself for like a day or so and most of the fluid came out. my manual says that it only takes 3 quarts of ATF but it was slipping really bad...

Re: Trouble Starting.
My bronco is doing the same thing. I took off my starter to see if that was the problem which its a little chewed up, but I still think its a fuel problem. I'll have to check my fuel system.

Re: valve cover gasket vs head gasket
Hmmmm, I dont know, i use the oil stabilizer and its worked fine for me, but i put in the whole bottle, just cuz its usually low on oil anyway and it seems to help for me at least. I've never used the stop leak before. the stabilizer says that it will decrease engine knocking, dry start up(no oil in...

Re: Body lift questions
well like i said, u can actually see how the ass end sticks down lower than the front end, so a 2 inch block in the rear levels it out with the front, my friend who has a 1990 bronco II put a 2 inch block in the rear and didnt even touch the front and it looks fine.he also got rid of the 205/75/15 t...

Re: Body lift questions

Re: Body lift questions
I personnally dont know, but i do know that these broncos arent naturally lower in the rear, and putting a 2 inch block in the rear actually will level it out for the front end. the rangers have those blocks stock, but for some reason they didnt put them on the broncos. When i get a better daily dri...

Re: valve cover gasket vs head gasket
Yea, mine will click some when i first start it up cuz all th eoil is still in the bottom of the engine, but once it has a minute or more to warm up an dthe oil gets to the top end, it goes away some, Its still there slightly cause one day i ripping up a freshly covered parking lot in a foot of snow...

Re: valve cover gasket vs head gasket
My problem I guess is similar. I have a bad oil leak, and I'm assuming its coming out of the valve cover seals, because they are absolutly covered in oil. I'm going to change them her ein the next couple weeks. My knocking/clicking gets worse when theres less oil in it, imagine that, but I'm going t...

Threw a bearing
So i was driving down the road and I must have thrown a bearing or something on my driver side front wheel and it destroyed all the other bearings, made the pins that hold the caliper on come off, and the brake pads fell off. anyway my whole damn wheel fell off. Now im trying to figure out what all ...

Radiator fan/viscous clutch
hey there guys, i notice my radiator fan wobbles while the engine is running, so I took it off thinking one of the bolts or something that hold the fan to the clutch came loose or out. I just replaced the fan a couple months ago. But upon further investigation all the bolts were tight. Is was where ...

I know the easily replace the axels with 91-93 explorers but how much harder would a 94 explorer be? I came across a really cheap one that someone wants to junk and I plan on swapping the axels on my rig eventually.
