The filter forward you can use the Explorer plastic hose. The return line however you will have to splice. Unless you can get the 90 B2 fuel lines. Splicing the interior wires into the Explorer harness shouldn't be a big deal. It's just dome light, speakers and rear wiper. I remember hearing somewhe...

Hey Joel, I checked out your posting on your rebuild. Man, that's quite the project, much more involved than mine for sure. Couple things I have questions on.. You stated that when you first tried to fire it up you were missing a ground. Couldn't make sense of the pics on that, what did you find an...

I did reassemble the Ranger with parts from the 88 and sold the truck.

Re: The Perfect Project - 3:1 (4.0 liter)

All 3 are V6/5spd 4x4, the BIIs have a 42 axles and the Exp has the 41. Not sure I want to go with 4:10s. The Explorer has 3.27 if the axle code is 41. Explorer 43 Open 3200 3.08 41 Open 3200 3.27 42 Open 4.10 46 Open 3.73 45 Open 3200 3.55 D4 Limited Slip 3200 3.73 D2 Limited Slip 4.10 L73 Limited...

I did somewhat of the same swap. If you use the dash from the Explorer it will make everything almost a plug and play. Use the headlight harness also and just replace the headlight plugs with the ones from the 88. I did a small blerp on the dash swap here about third of the way down on the first pag...

You are stuck making your own or you can check the other sites for someone selling. There is the Dual shock Hook coil bucket from Duff Someone is selling and there is another guy that is selling the old Hoop setup with shocks. Just have to look around. Don't expect someone else to find parts for you...

There are plenty of other sites out there if you want up to the minute drama. This site was here before the others and will be here when they are gone. Things move slowly around here, always have and likely always will. I'm not looking to be the biggest or most popular. That is a sure fire way to m...

Re: It's a crazy Idea but it just might work

How hard would it be to put a SHO V6 in a bronco 2? I thought It would look cool have the intake of a sho in a B2. I know with toyota they had the 22r in a truck and a car. So maybe with some bracket modifications you could? Has anyone every heard of doing this? Plus a sho has 220 hp. The SHO was a...

D7 is a 4.10 with a limited slip.

I've seen more B2's with 4.10's than Rangers.

Rangers only had 4.10's if they were 2.3L's.

There is rumor of 4.10 TTB Explorers but they are VERY rare. I don't think they exist from factory. Sort of like the 4.0L B2.

I run 33's on 3.73's and it's marginal. The truck still gets up and goes but it could always be better. If you plan to run anything over 35's I'd be looking at 4.56 or 4.88's. Like I said before rebuilding a 5.0L there are more options and you can get good power numbers out of off the shelf parts. T...
