Re: gas level and intermittent check engine light

still doin it. The MIL light will actually flash somewhat continuously now at idle during a cold start - causing the truck to "pulse" then remain on when i give it gas....then eventually shut off as I drive. or sometimes it just stays on regardless of the amount of fuel. It stayed on when ...

Re: grinding sound when taking off from a stop

thanks for the info. I like the rear axle suspension mounts idea....only reason being is that the sound is MUCH more harsh sounding when starting from a stop on an incline....my thought is that this puts extra pressure on those parts you mentioned. I'm not 100% positive on the location of the parts ...

grinding sound when taking off from a stop

happens not all the time. Can be very loud inside the truck, especially if I take off fast or slow and sounds more harsh if I am starting from a stop going up an extreme incline....like I have to stop in on a hill in traffic at a stop light. Definitely coming from the rear. it only lasts a few secon...

Re: plug under the dash??

yea i'ma go with something to do with the AC.

I would look in my Haynes manual - but it sucks major ass and the creators of it should be taken out and shot from a very far distance - so they can feel what's it like when someone purchases their manual and then gets home and finds out it's worth shit.

Ok so the OWNER'S MANUAL suggests Motorcraft OE plugs with a .44 gap

Is it worth it to "upgrade" the plugs?

Spark plug choice and gap

So of course the dumbass Haynes manual A) doesn't tell you how to change them and B) doesn't tell what to use and C) doesn't tell you what the gap should be. I'm about to order some and I notice they are gapped at .44 and .40 What is the best spark plug to purchase and at what gap? The Bosch p...

Re: plug under the dash??

any more info on the plug? pics? prolly for the cigarette lighter. Is it small and elbow shaped? Could also be some plug(s) for the AC components. The AC in my 90 BII doesn't work so I just unplugged it all. Those are grey and box shaped and connected to the loom. The cigarette lighter plug is just ...
