what is this?
i was told from a friend that on my 1987 bII 5speed manual overdrive that my fuel pump has a cut off switch that engages when i go over an incline of 15 degrees or more. is this true, and if so how do i fix this? :wtf: anyone have any suggestions for extra stability? ive got 33in tires and a 6in bod...

mine is doin the same, except i either cant put it into gear without the clutch, or i cant put it into gear at all... lol good luck

thanks for the replies, i will look into all of it. i looked at it today, and pretty much came up with the same ideas. what i think happend: the slave cylinder was shot in the first place, since there was no clutch fluid in the line then the fluid didnt fall through the crack in the clutch hydraulic...

something is over heating and causing the clutch not to go into gear. well this time it would go into gear but no movement, it just sat there revvin. so i stopped the truck, and let it cool for about an hour, checked the fluid, there wasent any so i put some in, got in and it ran great. about 5 mile...

fixed the electric problem and thanks for the sites for the tranny, mutch appreciated.
i had to take appart the relay completley and clean all the metal, so i could get a straight solid connection

why does my bronco do this...
1987 bronco II, 2.9L overdrive 4x4, manual 5 speed so ive fixed all of the exposed wires and cleaned all of the connectors to and from the starter, starter relay, and the battery. And it keeps shorting out, i have to disconnect the brand new battery, reconnect it, check for spark on the starter rela...
