Re: the 8.8 axle

i got the 8.8 off of a 92 exploder, and im putting it in my 87 bii.
my bii has the regular 4x4 stick and im pretty shure the exploder had push button.

im just wondering if i need it. seeing how my bii didnt come with whatever option this rearend has.

but that means a conversion from drum brakes to disk brakes.
what does that involve to swap over?

Re: New tool in the shop

that rig rocks, it works very well and smooth. my dad had one in his shop untill he got an actual lift.

the wheelchair shouldnt be a problem, i used to sit in a computer chair and change the oil on my old GTO.

oh lol yeah, that might be why.

i had pretty much the same problem as you. but mine went out the day i bought it. so this $80 deal came in pretty handy. i hope you can find something that will work and not cost a fortune, goodluck.
