Does it sound like a vacuum cleaner when you drive it? Plugged exhaust maybe? I like where Tek is going, maybe drive it with fuel pressure gauge on it to rule that out.

It sounds like it may be a fuel problem to me. What I would try is to remove the air cleaner and use carb cleaner to see if it's a fuel problem 1st then go from there. The problem with auto lockng hubs is there are cogs (or gears if you want to call them that) that line up when the front driveshaft is turning.
