The rear springs can be moved under the frame if you box the frame and have flat stock coming down off of it for the spring to go between. at the rear of the spring you would just have your shackle mounted in between the flat stock. you are gonna be moving the leaf perches on the axle anyways. The 9...

Summit sells aluminum radiators in a few sizes, I just measured and got one from them that would fit, I don't remember the dimensions but for $170 I got a brand new aluminum radiator and then I mounted dual electric fans in front of it as pushers and mounted seperate tranny and oil coolers in front ...

did you already weld on the wedges? I just held the wedges in with the radius arms to get everything set up just right and then tack welded them in place after I had the width and the castor right. I ended up making my own mounts on the radius arms though that held the spring in like the stock B2 se...

I think stock rims are 7s, and I'm not recommending it but I did squeeze some 33x12.5s on them, here's a pic of the poor puckered tires: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/701000-701999/701186_100_full.jpg as far as the air filter I agree with keeping the box but have seen conical fil...

awesome looking, when you break the D28 shafts just swap in the D35 that you are currently saving and looking for (or at least should be), and if you break the 7.5 swap in the disc brake 8.8 that you are saving and looking for. When you want more power drop in the 5.0 that you are saving and looking...

Don't know how I missed you guys talking in this thread so much. I think you pretty much have the front figured out, and it sounds like a great setup. Here's a post I had on B2.org: I wanted to swap in a Dana 44HD out of a '79 F-250 but did not want to use the leaf spring setup that came on the axle...

As Nobody has told you twice now there is no such thing as reverse rotation gears or axles-what would they do make you tire go backwards when in drive and forwards in reverse. They are reverse CUT , meaning the teeth are cut are a different angle because the pinion is above the center-line of the ri...

Those are the one's I used. Just welded them right onto the D44 that I got from a 79 F-250. Worked out great.

I think you would be fine shaving the bracket where you have it marked, it wouldn't weaken it that much. It is made for a 5000 lb truck and you are using it on a much lighter one anyways. I don't have any good close up pictures of my setup, all I did was move the stock radius arm mount and crossmemb...
