pretty sure it messes with the pinion angle pretty good if you put it on the diff side

no i did not have to modify the sag braket at all the pullys lined up perfect
all i did was blast it and cut the a/c pump portion of it off since i will be doin the scuba tank thing

i guessi coulda posted pics and yeah my water pump inlet is 1.75"

what i'm thinkin i'm gonna do is use some 1.75" ss tube then tig a bead all the way round to help retain the rad hose i'm thinkin it'll work especially sicne i'm cheap

lower rad hose

for those of you that did the 5.0L swap what did you use for a lower rad hose? i don't really want any unions in my hose but am havin trouble finding one that will fit

btw i only have 2.25" from the edge of my rad outlet to the pully on my swapped in saginaw pump

just sell the truck and buy a 4wd model you will be money ahead with what you want to do

just so you know the front end is a d28ttb and is not worth the time to swap it in

rear shaft angle will only be about 10-15*

and as for the support i'm not gonna flange mount the rad they always end up cracking the tanks gonna saddle mount it instead

but i fab stainless and alum for a living and what i have planned will work well

it would be easier to swap in a solid front but if you don't want to go that big then a d35 is what you want i'm pretty sure the mazda 5spd's came in 4wd i can't say about the engine crossmember being the same as a 4wd but i know guys that have swapped d35's into 2wd rangers and it worked out for them

here are a few more i had to "trim" my core support a bit to make this rad fit

and i got my t-cases up as high as i could only hang down about 1"

i cut almost all the shroud off the fan and am gonna make a new one out of aluminum i'm gonna run an 80amp relay (thats what they pull on start up) and a 30 amp circuit breaker acording to arcives on pirate they pull 33amps continuos and i don't feel like blowin stuff or catchin on fire also going t...

i'm putting a tranny cooler in between the rad and grill and i'm usin a taurus fan witch are pullers
did you use a conversion radiator?

yeah i'm usin a taurus electric fan gonna make a aluminum shround and offset it to one side to clear the waterpump i also cut out a good amount of the core support to fit my new alum. radiator

just dumped the new engine in got it back to within 1/2" of the firewall

my rear shaft is gonna be tiny with the c6 and dual cases
