I seriously doubt its just the bendix gear. this is a known problem on these vehicles. some idiot probably had the tranny out and didnt put the spacer in.

Ok BII guys, therei s a small bet going on between I and a fellow club member. This members truck is a 78 ford on a d60 front, locked with 70 rear locked. On 42 swampers. 460, c6.... etc Here is the agreement as posted by him. this originated becuase I claim I can wheel these two trails on 30 a/ts. ...

Rangers have factory lift blocks, BII's dont.

Coil swap is pretty straight forward. unbolt shock and swaybar, and unbolt coil retainer, pop out the coil, bend the tabs and put hte 150 coil in. I used 4wd 150 coils. Not sure if 2wd will work or not.
