Re: 89 bronco II
Hey Tek, Yep did a 5 day on the trail run in Death Valley the 1st week in April. Started in Beatty, NV and ended up at Lone Pine, CA. Took the F150 but missed the B2 a lot. Next year we are going to do the Mojave Road again. Ya my Dad used to say getting old is not for sissy's. I had my right should...

Re: 89 bronco II
Does it sound like a vacuum cleaner when you drive it? Plugged exhaust maybe? I like where Tek is going, maybe drive it with fuel pressure gauge on it to rule that out.

Re: no idle 85 bronco 2
It sounds like it may be a fuel problem to me. What I would try is to remove the air cleaner and use carb cleaner to see if it's a fuel problem 1st then go from there. The gas now a days sucks ad if it sat for awhile and it runs off the carb cleaner I'd say it needs a carb rebuilt. Hey Tek I told yo...

Re: Smoe real interesting facts.
Hey Tek, sorry haven't been here in a while. Life been interesting. I'm in the middle of moving and can't believe the crap I collected in 15 years. There is one good thing, I got all the parts for my 80% 1911 build and the machining done on the frame but will hold off hand fitting till I move into t...

Re: Got a 4.0
OK, so Dad passed away and gave me his Jeep. Sorry my B2 brothers but I got rid of the bucker and if there is anyone in the SoCa area that's want a good deal on the 4.0l (got all the stuff) I will make a good deal to someone who puts it into a B2. I'll still lurk around here and give my free advice ...

Re: 4x4 issues
The problem with auto lockng hubs is there are cogs (or gears if you want to call them that) that line up when the front driveshaft is turning. That's why you always have to back up after being in 4X4 to unlock the hubs. It sounds like you're hubs are not locking up. Remember you have to have both l...
