How long did you own this rig? did it ever overheat before? what does your oil look like? can you send a picture of the leak? We can go from there. -Jeff

Re: changing body mounts on 88 bII,possible body lift?
Take a close look at the front mounts, the ones on either side the rad, these are known to rot out if your area uses salt on the roads. I would soak the shit out of them with some penetrating oil a day or so before trying to free the nuts, good luck. -Jeff

Yep we're getting it tonight and tomorrow, it's heading this way it seems. I'm not that far from N.H if you look at the map, I'm just outside of Halifax to the North east of you.

Re: My 2.9 Problem starting
If the tach is not moving my bet is the ignition module. Its located on the distributor and is a bitch to get at, get yourself a 5.5mm socket or 7/32 , I think is the close one. Good luck. -Jeff

Re: Chevy 63" leaf springs in a bronco II
I looked at this as well, even got a set of chevy springs, then seen how it was going to hit the body mount. I though of building a body mount/spring hanger from scratch but ditched the idea when I noticed the main leaf was cracked.

Re: Lifting question
The fuel filler tube, shifter linkage and brake lines ( from master cyl to frame ) are what you should look out for doing a body lift. I'm probably forgetting something but hope this helps. -Jeff

Re: 88 B-II Hesitation/Power Loss
I agree with tek on both accounts, well written and get the codes checked, sounds like fuel starvation. If the fuel filter was that bad I wonder if the injectors aren't clogged up a bit too, just a thought.
