Nothing is hooked up in my 85, and i get over 20mpg on the highway, only gettin 25 in my 2.3 efi. Ive never had any valve troubles in my 2.8 nothing but opil pressure troubles in ALL the 9's ive had. Well, if you find me a 4.0 for $30 and everything needed to put it in, ill do that. But, the point of putting the 2.8 in (which ive ahd WAY better luck with than ANY 2.9) is, I dont have the money to spend on rebuilding a 2.9 or buying a good running one. 2.9 to 2.8 swap
What will it take as far as wiring to convert a 2.9L bII, to run a 2.8 with stock 2.8 ignition? Computer swap, and a couple wire changes?
